The problem
A consumer credit portfolio ran on manual collections and unauthenticated debit orders, which meant high cost, disputes and low success rates.
What we built
A collections gateway supporting authenticated DebiCheck mandates, credit insurance and automated debt review workflows.
DebiCheck requires the customer to confirm a debit order mandate with their bank before collections run. Moving to authenticated mandates cuts disputes, but only if mandate capture, collection scheduling and exceptions are automated end to end.
The gateway handled mandate registration and collection runs, and connected debt review and credit insurance processes to the same records, so operations teams worked from one view of each account instead of several spreadsheets.
