Banking software that passes the audit the first time.
Inople builds and modernizes banking and fintech software: loan origination, digital onboarding, AML and sanctions screening, card management, collections and GenAI features inside banking apps. Our leadership has delivered platforms serving more than 15 million users with a clean audit record across RBI, MAS and GDPR.
What banking software does Inople build?
Inople builds the systems a bank or lender runs its customer journey on. That covers branch and digital onboarding, loan origination and underwriting, AML and sanctions screening, card issuance, collections and loyalty. We also add GenAI features, such as transaction categorization, to mobile banking apps that already exist.
- Loan origination and onboarding
- Token queues, OCR on identity documents, facial recognition, digital signatures and direct credit bureau checks in one paperless flow.
- AML and sanctions screening
- High-throughput matching of customers, counterparties and transactions against global watchlists, including EU terrorism lists.
- Cards and loyalty
- Single-plastic dual credit and debit cards on a unified ledger, and cash-back engines that pay rewards into savings accounts.
- Collections
- Authenticated debit order collections, debt review and credit insurance workflows.
- Mobile banking
- Widget-based Edge frameworks where partners embed micro-apps inside the bank app.
How fast can a bank issue a loan with a paperless branch workflow?
A paperless branch workflow can cut loan issuance from around 40 minutes to under 5 minutes. Our team did this for a retail bank by joining token queues, document OCR, facial recognition, digital signatures and direct credit bureau checks into a single flow, so the branch officer stops re-keying data between systems.
Which regulations does Inople design banking systems for?
Inople leadership has passed audits under RBI, MAS and GDPR with a clean record. For other markets we design systems to meet the local rules, and we say plainly that we are not a certification body. We work alongside your compliance team and auditors rather than replacing them.
| Region | Rules we design for |
|---|---|
| India and Singapore | RBI, MAS (audited, clean record) |
| EU and United Kingdom | GDPR and UK GDPR, FCA expectations including Consumer Duty |
| United States | SOC 2 aligned controls, GLBA Safeguards Rule |
| South Africa | POPIA, National Credit Act, PASA payment rules |
| Nigeria | NDPA 2023, CBN guidelines |
| Kenya | Data Protection Act 2019 (ODPC), CBK digital credit rules |
Where does AI actually help in banking?
AI helps in banking where a person is reading documents or sorting transactions by hand. Good examples are OCR on identity documents, transaction categorization for personal finance features, and triage of AML alerts. AI is the wrong tool for credit rules that a regulator expects you to explain line by line. Those stay as clear, auditable logic.
Should a bank build or buy a loan origination system?
A bank should buy a loan origination system when its products and channels match what the vendor already supports. Building makes sense when the journey itself is the advantage, for example branch onboarding under five minutes or lending over the phone. Many banks end up doing both: a core platform bought in, with custom journeys and integrations around it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Has Inople worked with regulated banks before?
Yes. Our leadership has delivered banking platforms serving more than 15 million users across APAC, EMEA and South-East Asia, with a clean audit record under RBI, MAS and GDPR. Some of that work predates Inople and was done in earlier roles.
Is Inople SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certified?
We do not claim certifications we cannot show you. We build systems with controls aligned to SOC 2 and ISO 27001 and support your own audits with documentation and evidence. Ask us for our current security documentation.
Can you integrate with our existing core banking system?
Yes. Most of our banking work sits on top of an existing core. We build onboarding, lending and servicing journeys that read from and write to the core through its APIs or integration layer, without replacing it.
Can you add GenAI to a banking app without exposing customer data?
Yes, with the right architecture. Options include models hosted in your own cloud region, masking personal data before it reaches a model, and keeping decisions that affect credit outside the model. We agree the data boundaries with your security team first.
Do you work with fintechs as well as banks?
Yes. Fintechs often need the same pieces a bank has, such as onboarding, KYC, collections and ledgers, but faster and with a partner bank in the loop. We also advise early-stage fintechs on product scope and fundraising.
How does Inople handle data residency?
We deploy in the cloud region your regulator expects, for example AWS or Azure regions in the UK, the US or South Africa. Where rules require it, personal data stays in-region and only anonymized data is used for analytics or AI.
